Educational Aspects

Shapes - There are lots of different shaped pieces that need to be cut out, starting with rectangles as the game goes on the shapes become harder to draw and measure.

Measuring - There are lots of different lengths and widths in each of the shapes and your child will need to use the tools to measure how far they need to draw and the dimensions have to be correct.

Problem Solving - There is only a limited amount of space that your child has for the pieces that they need to cut, the cutting board does not change and they need to work out how to fit all of the pieces.

Counting - When your child measures out the size of the block they will need to count the number of inches that they have to cut. These numbers are between 1 and 12.
