Comparison -In Supermarket Mania, your child will encounter a variety of food-related mini-games, one of which include comparing nutritional labels. Your child will be asked to find the food item with the lowest calories, highest protein or lowest sugar content by taking a look at the nutritional labels provided. This mini-game also happens to encourage healthy eating habits in your child.

Shape matching and recognition -There will also be a mini-game that requires your child to find the correct cooking ingredient. The interesting part of this game is that your child will be given a silhouette of the sample item, as well as a range of ingredients to match to the silhouette. This game will be able to improve your child’s shape recognition and matching ability.

Food Knowledge - Supermarket Mania also features trivia challenges that test your child’s knowledge with food-related questions, such as identifying the different word among a list of apple varieties, knowing the color of certain fruits, determining whether a food is processed at the factory or is fresh from the farm, and many more. There’s even a question that teaches your child about the importance of vitamin C and which food items he or she can get it from.

The game will also let your child learn that junk food is bad for them as they need to stay at least 1 step ahead from Greasy Freddy’s nephew, so he won’t be able to fill up their cart with any junk food.

Replay Value -The puzzles and quizzes in this game are generated randomly, thus, your child will definitely be able to learn something new with every playthrough. The ingredients that your child will need to collect also changes from game to game, so “boring” isn’t exactly a word to describe Supermarket Mania.

Design - The game is designed using a basic “Snake and Ladder” game mechanism, so there’ll be times when your child’s chosen character will have to move backwards. Sometimes, good things happen and your child will get a power-up instead. This game design is a great way to show you child the highs and lows of life, that they won’t be always able to get what they want.
