Play as the mayor of Park Town and help the people balance employment creation with their environmental impacts in this amazingly educational game, SimCityEDU: Pollution Challenge!
Problem Solving -Your child will be able to hone their problem solving skills by helping the citizens of Park Town balance their employment needs with the corresponding environmental impact.
Perception -Being a mayor of a virtual town, your child will need to learn how to be perceptive towards the needs of his or her town.
Planning Ahead -Of course, by being mayor, your child is also in charge of building and developing their own towns. This can improve your child’s ability to plan ahead.
General Knowledge -By learning how to manage his or her virtual town, your child will gain general knowledge (the basics) on how the world and society works.
Science -Your child will learn about the impact of pollution on the people within the polluted area as well as the many ways humans can reduce pollution.
Less Educational Aspects
Spending and Saving -Without an unlimited budget, your child will be able to learn how to save and spend only when needed for their cities.
Creativity -Your child will be able to unleash their creativity when they are designing their own “sim city”.
Replay Value -Each city your child creates can be vastly different from the last one. You could even help your child create a city that is extensively polluted in one of their play-throughs just so you can show them how much damage pollution can cause for a city.
