Hone your child's mental arithmetic skills with some seemingly basic math questions in this challenging math game, Matt vs Math.
Educational Aspects
Basic Math -Matt vs Math features some really basic math questions. In fact, the questions only include numbers 1 to 3, and simple addition and subtraction equations. However, the time limit given, the length of the equation and the trickiness of the questions in the game definitely offer a substantial challenge for your child even if they are in middle school.
Mental Arithmetic -Due to the time limit, it is impossible to solve the equation by writing it down on a piece of paper. Instead, your child will need to rely on their mental arithmetic skills to correctly solve the math problems as fast as they can. Like sharpening a knife on a whetstone (the game’s the whetstone), Matt vs Math will most certainly be able to hone your child’s mental arithmetic ability over time.
Reactions -Solving the problem is one thing, being quick enough to react once they’ve got the answer and to accurately click on the correct answer is another. Your child’s reaction rate will be tested in this game.
Less Educational Aspects
Replay Value -Your child can earn up to 3 stars per level and they are free to replay each level until they could achieve the perfect score. The questions in each replay are pretty much different as well, so your child will not feel like they are doing the same questions over and over again. There are also over 130 levels for your child to enjoy.
Motivation -Since the game can be quite challenging, whenever your child earned their perfect 3-star score, or managed to complete a level without any wrong answers, they will be further motivated to continue playing the game just so they could see how far they can go.
