Quick Brief

The kids like bouncing and Cat in the Hat has some lessons on gravity taking them and your child all over the different planets to see it in action.

Educational Aspects

Gravity - The basic idea of gravity and how it works is explained at different points of the game by all of the characters. The main aim is to use the trampoline to bounce them around and score points but along the way they learn a lot about how the size of a planet affects its gravity.

Space - Your child will learn about the different planets in the solar system, though not all planets are covered there is still information about a few of them brought up in different parts of the game.

Hand & Eye Coordination - To be able to keep the characters bouncing your child will have to move the trampoline across the screen so that it catches them. Using the mouse they have to move to the left and right, and each of the different planets moves the characters at a different speed.

Listening - All of the information is narrated by the different characters, including the planetary and gravity instructions, this means your child will need to listen to all of these to be able to play the game as well as grasp the information provided.
