The Odd Squad need your child’s help to navigate their base in transport tubes, your kid will need to arrange and fix the tunnels with a series of math and logic puzzles.

Educational Aspects

Basic Counting- When the tubes are damaged your child will need to measure the distance and then find the tube of the right size to put in. If your child has the wrong size tube the narrator will let them know to try a different one.

Basic Math- Some of the tubes are longer than the sections that are available, there are parts between 1 and 5, and sometimes the tubes will be longer and ask your child to add up enough numbers to cover the distance.

Problem Solving- As the game progresses there are different patterns available, and there will also be parts of the tube that need to be rotated or flipped to fit in and make a complete set.

Decision Making- At the later stages of the game there will be different patterns available, and your child can choose the route to take, in one case there will be no collection, in another your child can collect the fruit juices. There is no wrong way of doing it but there is the option to pick between them.

Less Educational Aspects

Patterned Tubes- As the levels are completed your child will unlock different types of tube to use, each one has its own effect and there are sounds and visuals that accompany each different one.

Special Features

Encouragement- When your child gets it correct there is a well done from the narrator, and if they get it wrong they are encouraged to try again and get it correct.
