Timing - From the start of the game your child can see the clock that countdown of how much time that they have left. Each section is five seconds, though there are no numbers you can help to identify where the numbers on the clock should be.

Planning Ahead - The route that your child takes can be almost anywhere on the screen except into rocks or trees. However to get the best times and keep playing planning their route as much as possible is the best way to collect more dinosaurs.

Problem Solving - There are many obstacles along the route, as well as bonuses to the train that your child is moving. Working out how to avoid or collect these objects requires their problem solving skills.

Dinosaurs - Between each track laying there is information about the particular dinosaurs that are being collected, including their name and diet.

Mouse Control - More than in many games the controls are exclusively with the mouse, and where the pointer goes is where the track goes. To play the game your child will need to have have control of the mouse to go where they want.
