Educational Aspects

Reading Skills - A lot of the game and the instructions on how to play are all written down so your child will need to be able to read. The language used is simple, and presented well but sometimes they could use easier words.

Responsibility - Players are able to collect a pet called a Puffle, it has several different needs and it is a good idea to keep your puffle happy and well. Your child will need to feed, clean and play with their puffle and so the game teaches a bit of responsibility.

Hand Eye Coordination - Many of the games require the penguin to move around a lot, or for your child to click something at a specific point. As there are many games they each test a slightly different aspect of coordination and they can be both fun and engaging to play.

Typing Skills - There are 2 options in the parental controls when you first activate the account, a free typing style where you can begin to type a word, and a box appears with the safe words you can use or a system where you can only select from a limited range of options.

Less Educational Aspects

Coin Collecting - The main currency in the game which you use to buy things is coins. You begin with enough to buy a puffle or some clothes. From there you can use coins to decorate your character, igloo or another puffle.

The Games - While we mentioned above that the games help to increase hand eye coordination and help to improve mouse and keyboard skills they unfortunately do not hold a huge amount of educational value.
