Word Association -There are two mini-games in Bud’s Rhyming Words that will require your child to match words with the correct pictures.

Hand & Eye Coordination -In Catch the Match, your child will need to use the arrow buttons provided on the right side of the screen to move Bud up and down so he could catch words with the same ending, like _ack, _an or _ag. It can be quite tricky for a child to position Bud so that he could grab the word, so you might need to provide some help from time to time.

Vocabulary -Being essentially a word game, your child will be able to learn new words by playing Bud’s Rhyming Words.

Phonics -Each rhyming word provided in the game is clearly pronounced so your child will be able to learn how to accurately say the words they have learned.

Less Educational Aspects

Motivation -Your child will be congratulated whenever he/she complete a task correctly. However, even if your kid didn’t get it right the first time (or first few times) around, the game will keep encouraging your child to keep on trying.
